Berkshire’s only Accredited Living Wage home care provider is continually seeking Home Carers to support our clients in their own homes. We have positions available across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire.
We believe in providing care in the way we would want our loved ones to be treated, so we don’t engage in 15 minute or back to back calls. Instead, we give our Home Carers the time to deliver real person centrered care.
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t cared before as we will provide full training, for which we will pay you.
Once you are delivering care you will earn at least £8.50 per hour, increasing to the London Living Wage (currently £9.40 per hour) after you complete 12 weeks probation. If you do have experience, we will pay you the higher rate of £9.40 per hour immediately.
If we ask you to undertake a call of less than 1 hour, we will pay an enhanced rate for it, we also pay a mileage allowance, provide a free uniform and a company pension scheme.
Home Carers who work for us have told us that they don’t really feel that they are working for a living, rather they spend their time improving people’s lives. Others have said that in previous roles they have often finished their shift feeling upset and unsupported, with us they feel valued and happy.
All we ask is that you are honest, reliable, show empathy and have the ability to communicate in good spoken English with our clients. You will also need to drive and have access to a car to get from client to client.
